ALANA! This video is fucking perfect! I actually couldn’t see it here so I looked it up on YouTube and as soon as it finished I uploaded it to Facebook.
During my Facebook discussion about Prop 8 yesterday, the man kept quoting the Bible and I never responded to it because I didn’t think it had a place in the argument. But thanks to this video I can express to him exactly why I didn’t respond to his bible quotes or his questions about “why I turned my back on God”.

Dear Alana i do agree we have to respect one another as human being. We were given this earth from God to take care of it Why i believe in a God how else did the moon, the earth, the quasar,and the universe. Everthing has an origin and a begining.The Same way we are given a child to take care of and nurish that creation we must do the same as if the earth was our baby. Faith is believing in something not seen in other words just b’coz i dont see it tangible it will manifest itself later as evidence, Point in case you have faith or believe you are going to wake up the next morning and you know this as evidence as you awake out of your sleep. Some people made the word faith to be complicated when it really isnt that hard. To me sleep is someone practicing to die each day so when i die that will be that last sleep i will need. If there is no existence or nothingness after we die what is the point, that would mean you would treat people and animals and the earth good and no one would reap the benefits, that would be like running a race and when you cross the finish line you dont get anything from it. God is spirit and we are housed in this shell called the body and when this shell fades away i believe we continue in our spirit. If there is nothing after we pass this earth why do some of us see our loved ones in visions (dreams) are you saying we just made it up its a figment of our imagination. Why does the animals give thanks and praise to God. I hear it when the birds sing and the ocean roars many things acknowledge a greater power called God, I am not trying to convince anyone, Like the man said i’m not trying to impose my thoughts or beliefs on to anyone, I think when we try to force our ways of life upon others that is where the complication sets in.
If someone wants to believe cows are sacred and are God that is their belief. If someone believes that man is God that is their choice. I dont except religion b’coz religion is something man has put his own ideas into. Most people dont understand that everything in the bible is not to be taken literally that dont educate themselves or as for spiritual help if you dont realize that the bible is metaphors and parables then that is where most people go wrong and start added their own views and opinions Point in case there is a parable that says if your eye offend thee pluck it out.
Now if you lack understanding you’ll be walking around without no eyeballs b’coz you decided to rip it right out of your head, the true meaning means that if anything offend you move it from your sight or get from it.
God is Spirit you can feel the force of the wind but you cant see it. Mankind hasnt even scratch the surface of the galaxy and we havent conquered the sea. there is so much more out there. If we took care of the earth there would be less diseases.there would be no cancers and our planet would not have a hole in the atmosphere.If we took care of the what God bestowed upon us mother nature would be kinder to us. when does God have to prove anything to mankind.
Those are my thoughts and if anyone wants to disagree that doesnt make them a bad person that just means we dont have certain things we share in common.
