This is one of the reasons I love Vimeo, I just have to say. There are some of the most talented artists using it to feature their work and it’s easy to discover something new to love.
I had never heard of Wax Stag before but I think it’s definitely new cool. I couldn’t find a website for them (um, hi guys! wanna?) however here is their MySpace page. This particular song is kind of… happy electro. Easy to listen to, funky: you’ll bop your head a little for sure.
What I liked about this the most however, is how well the video and the track came together in this ridiculously legit marriage of illustration and stop motion. Beautifully creative and tragically hip. The song or the video alone would have been great, but together this makes for three and a half minutes well spent, leaving you inspired.
