I first had the pleasure of meeting Patricia Handschiegel when I attended the Girls In Tech Social Fashion & Beauty Summit. She has now teamed up with partner and friend Meghan Cleary to bring her successful column to life in a six week video series called The New Power Girls.
The New Power Girls (NPG) © is a multiplatform franchise project tracking the growing mogul movement among women in America and around the world… NPG offers insight from the frontlines of real life modern women entrepreneurs and executives.
In the first video of the series, Patricia and Meghan sit down with Justine Ezarnik, better known to the internets as iJustine, to talk about how to create and most importantly keep an audience for your online content.
When I got Patricia’s email letting me know about the launch of the New Power Girls series today, I was more than eager to share it with the Life On Blast community because it is an excellent example of how women can team up to educate and assist each other as conspirators rather than competitors. In this video we see three women who manage to be intelligent, strong, and beautiful all at once… and we hear some great advice from women who have earned their way to success based on merit. (No tutu’s and goodie goodie gumdrops here!) Simply women who have found balance and accomplishment and want to empower others to do the same.
I think a large portion of the audience that reads blogs and online content also creates their own. The first of this series offers up some sound advice. As someone just venturing into the world of creating video content I found the tips they focus on here useful and informative and I hope you do as well!
