“Wild Roses” for W.
Mert Alas & Marcus Piggott have become my current fav’s. I first discovered them in W when they did the Wild Roses spread. I later discovered the Visionaire #52 book, which I have since purchased and it is now one of my prized possessions. (More on Visionaire #52 HERE ) They shot the images, Marc Jacobs edited the shoot. Its beautiful.
Mario Testino, David LaChappelle, Helmut Newton… are obvious and obligatory mentions, when it comes to fashion photography.
But have you heard of Roy Stuart? Natacha Merritt? And Alison Jackson has become a new fav in the “otherwise” department.
